Sometimes we wonder what in the world we did before our iPads and tablets hit the market. Love em’ or loathe em’, our mobile devices are indispensable, and, we must admit, can really come in handy when traveling with kids. We especially love the hours that can be filled with all different kinds of apps for children of all ages.
“There are so many wonderful interactive apps that are fun to encourage kids to learn and be creative–we never leave home without the iPad!” says Houston-based stylist, Ursaline Hamilton, who likes to use apps as an educational tool for her sons. “My boys are 10 and 12 now, so I like discussing and resarching fun facts about where we are going. It’s the perfect time to encourage them to think more globally by teaching them about time zones, weather, and seasonal changes.” And yes, there’s an app for that!
