Postcard From Palma de Mallorca

Natalia Rankine-Galloway’s passport is heavily stamped. The cofounder and managing partner of Culture Baby has lived in several countries since childhood and is now based in Morocco. She regularly travels all over the world in her search for beautifully crafted children’s clothing, toys, and accessories for her business. “I started Culture Baby to celebrate the global citizenship I claim and to help other parents pass on a love of the world to their kids,” says Rankine-Galloway.

When she wants to relax with the family, Rankine-Galloway heads to Palma de Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands in Spain—and her parents’ adopted home. “Anytime of the year is the right time to visit Mallorca since the beaches are delightful in the hot summers and the winters are mild,” notes Rankine-Galloway. “But if possible, try February, when the almond trees are in bloom and it practically snows white petals.”
