Never say never, people! Rumor has it power mom Halle Berry and her French beau, actor Olivier Martinez, have finally set the date—for this weekend! Although the Oscar-winning actress swore that she would “never, never get married again” in a 2007 interview with InStyle magazine, Berry may be walking down the aisle for the third time this weekend. If they do in fact take their vows, this will be the first marriage for Martinez, who was previously in a five-year relationship with singer Kylie Minogue. Berry, on the other hand, has been married twice before—once to baseball player David Justice in 1993 and again to singer Eric Benêt in 2001.
The pair, who have been engaged since March of last year, have yet to confirm any wedding details, but don’t expect a royal wedding-esque production. When she spoke of her dream wedding with InStyle last November, Berry stated: “I do know it will be very small…I haven’t been to many weddings, but I went to one this weekend with 250 guests. I thought, wow—so this is a wedding, huh? I’ve never had that, nor have I wanted that. I wasn’t even trying to catch the bouquet!” Apart from their nuptials, the happy couple is also anticipating the birth of their first child. Five-year-old Nahla Ariel, Berry’s daughter by her former flame, model Gabriel Aubry, will have a new stepdad and a baby brother to play with come fall!
