MY STYLE: My father describes me as “glamorous eclectic,” both in home and dress. He tells me I bring discordant elements into harmony. I say I work with what I have and that includes a mix of gorgeous heirlooms, functional pieces, and a substantial accessory collection.

I LOVE NEW YORK BECAUSE: I can leave my house on foot and either be surrounded by nature (the  Central Park ramble) or trying on a pair of Manolos (my weakness) in record time. I love the speed of Manhattan, and the take-out cannot be beat.

Bergdorf Goodman

The Bergdorf Goodman legacy traces back to 1899, when French immigrant Herman Bergdorf opened his tailor shop just north of Union Square. Fifteen years later, his apprentice Edwin Goodman became the first couturier to offer a ready-to-wear line, and the rest is fashion history.
