Tia Mowry, Christina Applegate and More Hilarious Microbloggers Tell Parenting Like It Is

Miley Cyrus’ wild VMA performance may have garnered more tweets per minute than the Superbowl or blackout (306,000 to be exact, as the starlet herself was kind enough to inform us), but that wasn’t all that went on in the Twitterverse this week. Thankfully, Tia Mowry, Christina Applegate, and the rest of our favorite mommy and daddy microbloggers carried along with business as usual. (Okay, okay, some may have referenced Miley’s VMA performance, but at least they did so with genius wit—@SuburbanSnaps, we’re looking at you).

As always, the hilarious parenting-themed feeds that have become our go-to source of entertainment during our morning commute continued to deliver the goods. @ScaryMommy contemplated post-pool towel washing vs. homework battles (We felt a pang of empathy), @WillGoldstein‘s son discovered the direct line to Santa (Forward thinking…we can respect that), and @Reasonsmysoncry had a family day that went about as successfully as ours usually do.
