Power Mom Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a daughter, and we found some great outfits for her.
We’re not really big on announcing every birth or gender here on Elizabeth Street, but for power couples like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, we’ll make an exception. The headlines surrounding Kardashian’s pregnancy have been constant and largely negative—we are almost certain that when you were seven to nine months pregnant, you wanted to avoid the flash of light bulbs and constant chatter about how much you have grown. But such is the price of celebrity—especially if you go after it as much as Kardashian and West have. We want to commend Kim for taking such daring fashion choices while going through this pregnancy, and it seems that she has someone to pass her collection of designer duds too—she is having a baby girl!
If you were not watching the mind-bending episode of Games of Thrones last Sunday, you were likely tuned into the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, on which the big reveal happened. Accompanied by her mother, stepfather and older sister, Kardashian went to the doctor for an ultrasound. “I don’t see any peepees,” said the doctor, thereby announcing that her child-to-be is a girl. This comes as great news to the power couple, as they were hoping for a little princess.
“Who doesn’t want a girl? They’re the best, and I know that’s really what Kanye has always wanted,” says Kardashian.
