Power Moms on the Move: Beyoncé Collaborates with Stuart Weitzman

Queen Bey has her sights set on taking over the fashion world

Beyoncé Knowles really can do it all. Perform at the Super Bowl? Check. Sell out an up-coming tour in a matter of minutes? Check. Have powerful friends with last names like Winfrey and Obama? Check. And now Queen Bey—as her legions of fans call her—has her sights set on conquering the fashion world. A perennial red carpet darling, and designer of the The House of Dereon with her mother Tina Knowles, Beyoncé has dabbled in fashion waters already. But with her new collaboration with H&M, she has joined the pantheon of fashion insiders—Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney, to name a few—that have lent their names and designs to this Swedish retailer.

Aside from her H&M line, the wife of Jay-Z and mother to Blue Ivy has collaborated with shoe designer Stuart Weitzman on the shoes for her upcoming tour, The Mrs. Carter Show. “Creating footwear for Beyoncé’s shows has been one of my most inspiring projects.” Weitzman said. “She and her entire team know exactly what they need, always focusing on the function of the styles that will be worn.”

If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket to this sold-out concert, you will see the range of stiletto pumps, Swarovski crystal details, and military-influenced boots. Able to dance in a three-hour show in heels?
