Located in the foothills of Tai Mo Shan Mountain, Kadoorie Farm is steeped in woodlands, streams, and education facilities—all testament to the institution’s history of valiant conservation aims. In an effort to promote the slow foods movement, Kadoorie also hosts a weekly farmers’ market at Star Ferry Central Pier. “We always buy some organically grown produce while visiting the animals,” says Fiona Kotur Marin.
