Spring is coming and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve had enough of the cold and we’re ready for everything to bloom. Spring brings all kinds of projects (more on that coming soon), many of them cleaning-related, but what we’re really excited about is the idea of entertaining again—after all, the season just makes us feel happy and more social. The weather is nice, there’s a sense of renewal in the air, and kids just seem more agreeable. Thank God the web offers no shortage of inspiration for cool party ideas.
Soon, we’re hoping to make these easy appetizers from Martha Stewart and then set the table with one of Real Simple’s cool table settings (we’re thinking the stuffed mushrooms first, and then the chalkboard placemats). We’re also into Design Sponge’s idea for a beer party, and those of you with spring babies can take advantage of Apartment Therapy’s incredible birthday party themes—we’re obsessed with looking through them. Finally, we’re thinking of bringing our toast to the next level by taking a cue from Joy the Baker and going crazy with bagels—wouldn’t all these toppings make for a great brunch extravaganza? A party full of fun toppings really lends itself to kids and adults. What’s more perfect than that?
