Williamsburg may be teeming with young hipsters, but Dressler brings a sophisticated, upscale atmosphere to the neighborhood. Named after a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Steven Millhauser, Dressler offers pricey American Nouveau dishes. But, if you’re on a budget, there’s also the famous and reasonably priced DuMont burger on the bar menu. DuMont is one of owner Colin Devlin’s other restaurants in Williamsburg. In 2006, he was awarded one Michelin star for Dressler. Raegan Moya-Jones loves to take her girls there for Sunday brunch. “We take the ferry from Dumbo to Williamsburg, which is a nice way to travel to a leisurely brunch,” she says. “The girls are big fans of the brioche French toast.”
