Summer is just about here, and the fabulous parties have begun. What mom doesn’t love getting gussied-up and sipping cocktails while enjoying the warm weather? And just last night, many a fashionable mom came out to one of these chic soirees. The Summer Party on The High Line, Sponsored by Coach, is a can’t-miss event that we here at Elizabeth Street look forward to every year. This annual fundraiser for the city park is circus-themed, and brings the carnival atmosphere to the city streets of New York. Guests had the option to play ring-toss, whack-a-mole, or just observe the many acrobats in every corner. By purchasing a set amount of tickets (all to raise funds for The High Line), attendees where able to partake in these fun-filled activities to win amazing prizes from Coach.
Marjorie Gubelmann arrived hand-in-hand with her dapper son Cyrus Raein, who was amazed by the all the circus performers. Just around the corner sat Katie Holmes, in a white Grecian-inspired number, having a quick chat with fellow mom Naomi Watts, who donned an adorable pink shirtdress. Other celebrity guests included Aziz Ansari, Anna Kendrick, Zachary Quinto and Connie Britton. Overall, the event was just as magical as the view is from The High Line.
