Saying that the Balboa Peninsula Park is a great weekend destination just doesn’t do it justice. The spot is more of a hub, a center where residents of Newport Beach can enjoy a number of recreational activities or just sit back and enjoy the scenic views. It can be equated to New York’s Central Park or Paris’s Tuileries Garden, places that get frequent traffic and have become a major facet of their city’s iconography.
