Despite playing the least maternal character on HBO’s “Girls,” actress Jemima Kirke is expecting her second child
Jemima Kirke may play an apathy-prone trouble-brewer on TV, but in the real world, the actress is shaping up to be quite the domestic goddess. The painter-cum-TV star, who is currently filming for Girls’ second season, admitted on Wednesday that she is also pregnant with her second child.
The actress and her husband, Michael Mosberg, are already parents to one-year-old daughter Rafaella Isreal, to whom Kirke gave birth just weeks before filming Girls’ pilot episode. Little did the new mom know that her new gig, which chronicles four young, somewhat aimless girls as they navigate their way through life in New York City, would become an enormous success. How Kirke’s pregnancy will affect the schedule and plot of upcoming seasons has not yet been announced.
It has also not been disclosed whether young Rafaella will be getting a baby brother or sister. However, if the mother-daughter photo shoot featured on The Glow is any addiction of Rafaella’s nature, she’ll be a good playmate either way!
