When Zara launched its kids’ line in 2008, it did so sans advertising. But it didn’t take long for word to spread, and soon enough it was spotted on some of Hollywood’s most adorable tots, including Ruby Sweetheart (daughter of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer) and Nahla (daughter of Halle Berry). Just like its parent line, Zara Kids is wallet-friendly, a good thing considering the wearers are prone to messy eating, grass stains, and outgrowing their duds in a year’s time. Some of the cutest styles from the spring collection take girlish fashions popular on the women’s runways and reimagine them for little ladies—think pale pink cropped trousers, a polka-dotted vest, and a peter pan collared button down with a print of tiny elephants.
