One of the oldest and most sizeable museums in New York, the Brooklyn Museum has collections ranging from the very old to the contemporary. It’s only a half an hour from Midtown, so tourists need not be worried about finding their way. The building itself is one of the draws—it’s housed in a beaux-arts building of over 500,000 square feet. Robin Renzi loves that there are “lots of activities for children,” including “plenty of educational classes specific to different styles of art where kids then have chance to create art in the same vein.” How cool is that?
