The actress and the fashion designer are raising awareness and funds for the World Food Programme.
On the heels of the announcement of her second child with actor Olivier Martinez, Halle Berry just announced that she will joining celebrated American designer Michael Kors in his fight against world hunger. The Academy Award-winning actress will work with Kors to raise awareness and funds or the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). Along with planned visits with the WFP to countries around the globe, this dynamic duo has designed two watches as part of Kors’ Watch Hunger Stop campaign. For each watch sold, 100 meals will be provided to hunger children through the WFP. “I’m proud to join Michael Kors in this global effort to end hunger,” says Berry.
Halle Berry has always been on the forefront for helping those in need and shining a spotlight on issues that need attention. For many years, Berry has lent support and money to the Jenesse Center in Los Angeles and for victims of domestic abuse and is a Revlon Global Brand Ambassador who has raised funds for cancer research and treatment. “She brings talent, energy, generosity, and of course start power to a cause that is extremely important to me. I am grateful that she has joined our effort and thrilled that we will be working side by side to end hunger,”
