Berlin is a largely unpretentious city, but hey, the upper crust has got to eat somewhere! This chic steakhouse, which sits in the middle of the city on the bank of the Spree river, has become a destination for actors, politicians, and art dealers and collectors. The latter group no doubt enjoys the artistic decorating flourishes that include a wax-encrusted vespa and a stuffed peacock. And all visitors seem to enjoy their rich dishes of lobster bisque, cod fish ceviche, oysters “fine de Claire,” and steak of course.
