Birthday party season is upon us and along with invitations, party decorations and of course, the cake, there’s the party favor to consider. That’s where a little DIY comes in handy. Who doesn’t love a paper crown? They’re so simple to make–your little party goers can actually create their own party favor.
These patterns from Past Paper Future’s wrapping paper lend themselves to crown shapes so well, you’d think they were made for it! All we did was cut along the design of the paper to create unique crown shapes. And we made ours extra tall because it made us feel like characters in Where the Wild Things Are.
For your birthday celebration, you’ll need kid-friendly scissors, some fun paper, coloring tools to decorate the crowns and tape. Each of your guests will leave feeling like they’ve been King or Queen for the day!
