“Black Dog is our family-favorite summertime spot (or any season, for that matter),” says Jo Aaron of this gourmet gelato and sorbet shop. Owner, Jessica Oloroso fills her artisan shop with obscure yet delicious flavors, such as Mexican hot chocolate and sesame fig chocolate chip. Aaron continues, “They come up with the coolest flavors like the cashew goat cheese caramel, which is my go-to, and my husband’s favorite, blueberry French toast. We take the kids here after dinner and have even been known to leave galas and dinner dates early on Saturday nights so we can get there before they sell out of our favorite flavors!”
