Épicerie Boulud

Daniel Boulud is famous for an array of eponymous restaurants, the most casual of which is Épicerie Boulud. You can sit down or take out this fabulous menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, breads, cheeses, cakes, and more. It’s a perfect as an easy lunch stop as it is a place to grab cheese and bread for a cocktail party. Mary Ann Zoellner notes that her daughters love “the ham and cheese and butter baguette, and I love the wine and beer and soups and oyster bar. You can stand outside on a lovely spring or summer night and it is just divine.” And after those oysters? The pastries are known to be the some of the best in town.
