This “fantastic” bookstore for kids is an old New York staple that has been around for decades. The store is spacious, so there’s room to play, and according to mom Zandy Hartig, “the staff encourages kids to settle down in the store and read if they like.” There are weekend story times for different age groups, and the selection is expansive. It’s really the kind of place that reminds you why independent bookstores are so valuable, and it’s great to share that with the little ones.
