With twelve locations worldwide, Opera Gallery is known for its selection of internationally derived works, ranging from contemporary sculpture to art deco furnishings to turn-of-the-century drawings. At the Hong Kong location, dark walls add a dramatic touch to the showroom, where spotlights beam down on works by Andy Warhol and August Renoir. And though the space is frequented by seasoned collectors, anyone is welcome. “Opera Gallery is very family friendly,” says Anastasia Stewart Chunilal of the space she co-directs. “We’ll come visit with the girls on the weekends.”
