We are all geared up for Halloween. From the costumes, to the decorations, to the nail art, the night of October 31st will be one big scintillatingly spooky extravaganza.
After the little monsters come home from trick-or-treating and the sugar high has worn off, curl up on the sofa with the family and watch a Halloween movie before bed. Though Halloween movies for kids tend to have a G rating, anything involving ghosts, witches and anything even slightly macabre can be frightening and might require some parental supervision. Whether it is the baby-napping in Labyrinth or the whole eating-of-children thing in The Witches, some of our “kid-friendly” favorites have dark undertones. Granted, most kids are too captivated by the lively animatronics and special effects to realize what is really going on, but it is still best to tread with caution.
